Hi! My name is Callista Chong, and I'm an undergraduate at Princeton University, a musician, and an ex D1 athlete. My journey with fitness after over 10 years of organized sports has lead me to distance running, but there was one problem I had that was keeping me from truly enjoying my runs. I love using the BPM of music to pace my runs ~ it feels more like dancing than running~ but it's so difficult to build playlists around this idea! Since there was no workaround to the hours that go into searching for the right songs, testing them out on runs, only to find that the BPM on whatever random website I was searching on was wrong, I developed RunBeat to do it for me. RunBeat takes your desired BPM and searches through YOUR liked music to help you find accurate matches to build your perfect running playlist!
